Sunday, September 27 – Humanity’s Place in the World

To see ourselves as belonging to nature is a more persuasive rationale for sustainability than to perpetuate the notion that we are separate, isolated, and that our very existence is a threat to life on earth. It’s time for a new story.

Join us for worship on Sunday to consider our place in the world. Rev. Cynthia will offer the sermon. Jim Saunders will offer a reflection. The Chalice Choir will present “Inscription of Hope”, a deeply emotional expression of hope for all mankind composed by Z. Randall Stroope based on an inscription on a cellar wall in Cologne, Germany, during the rise of Nazi Germany.
