It’s great to be back in the Sanctuary! Just in time for us to host Earth Day service
Featuring your Earth Ministry Team and guest speaker Rosaleen Xiong of Georgia Interfaith Power & Light. We are proud to be partnered with GIPL and have them as our 50/50 recipient for April. Music will be provided by Alex Pietsch and John Pruitt.
After service, Aaron Pinkus from Shades of Green Permaculture leads a 2nd Hour Workshop, “Water is the Source of Life,” with examples of watersheds that let water infiltrate and nourish the land. Afterwards, join us for a brief walk around the church land to observe, interact, and envision future possibilities of rainwater harvesting and creating beneficial ecosystems. Jennifer Phillipi has something special planned for the K-5 RE during this time so the kids can get in on the fun, too!
