Celebrating 1991-2016 (and beyond!)

UUMAN’s Silver Anniversary ReUUnion Celebration Weekend on February 6&7, 2016 was a great success. Former members and friends traveled thousands of miles to partake in a weekend filled with renewed friendships, memories and fun.  …and the best part is – We’re Just Getting Started!. Our search committee has come up with candidates for settled minister and UUMAN is in a great place looking forward.

The ReUUnion Celebration Weekend was completely donation driven, even generating a contribution to UUMAN’s general fund.  Some of the “donations” made included: the “hardware” – the raffle painting; much of the table and room decorations in both rooms including the balloons; all the wine, beer, and champagne; some food; the photo supplies for the photo booth, the looping slideshow, and the program video; as well as the “software” – inspirational, creative ideas; planning, shopping, selling, organizing, budgeting, pouring, artistic, DJ, and design skills; many hours of hard work; and, the best part, we had fun doing it!  Thanks to everyone who made it possible and who partook in the festivities including the fabulous, fantastic balloon figures provided by our very own Paul Teal, Certified Balloon Artist, of Party ‘Til You Pop LLC, www.partytilyoupop.com
